Actually I find it very funny how Arabic & English have to have such similar proverbs... It is a proof how cultures interact & are connected to each other in an unconscious way!...

جميلة هي الامثال لانها تختزن من حضارة الشعوب الشيء الكثير واللغة الرديفة ضمان وأمان ( من عرف لغة قوم أمن شرّهم ) .
وبالحوراني يقال كل لسان بزلمة .
بإزرع (عشت بين ظهرانيها سنوات ثلاث ) عرفت فيها المرحوم الاستاذ نعيم عزام ( لاأعلم إن كان الاخ فادي الناقولا يتذكره) كان يتكلم لغات سبع ..فكم لغة غير العربية نستطيع ان نتكلم بطلاقة .....؟؟؟

اخي جميل المرحوم نعيم كان استاذ تاريخ ومثقف جدا ولكنه لم يتقن سبع لغات على حد علمي وانا تلميذه وصديق لابنه خلدون اللي كان يعرف سبع لغات شخص اخر كان فاتح مدرسة تقوية لحالو الله يرحمو غاب عن بالي اسمو الان وهو من بيت العزام ايضا

these are arabic proverbs and you translated them to English is it ?

there are english proverbs what is the maching proverbs in arabic
Like :
You can take the hourse to the spring bu tyou cant force the hourse to drink
what is the matching proverbs in arabic not translation

it refers to the bad luck for some girls who watch their friends fall in love in love then get married, but their turn never comes....
